Amy and I are leading a Mission Class right now, and I’ve got to say, the discussion is the best part. I love hearing what other people are thinking, and the other ways God is leading those around me. Bottom line is, God is doing something in His people right now…and it is a phenomenal … Continue reading drifting thoughts

celebration of life
Sunday was a beast for me…but it had some amazing things to be a part of all day! I loved celebrating the worth of an orphan with so many of you at the 9:05 service, and at the Russia presentation at 12:15. These kids desire every ounce of love we send in their direction! But … Continue reading celebration of life

the heart of God
I love snow. I just cannot help it...there is something incredibly peaceful about how silently it falls. How pure and white it is...how perfect, yet individually unique. I am literally giddy when I see perfect snowflakes and all of their points. And the world is so quiet when snow falls, especially when it falls at … Continue reading the heart of God
sunday dinners
When i was a small person...under age 5...we lived in Springfield, Missouri. During those years, Sundays looked different than what they have for most of my life. So…I have a story, about the … Continue reading molding me
jet lag
Here I am...hosting DIVAS retreat tonight! It is way past my 9:15 bed time that I've been succumbing to all week, but it is worth every minute to spend some time with these fantastic girls! And re-living stellar memories from last summer's mission trip sent us into giggles!
reality
Yesterday I realized that I am struggling with reality. Probably due to the fact that some teammates talked me into watching Inception on our long Russia flight. Excellent movie with some great out of the box thoughts, and ironically really pertinent to what someone goes through after being on an international mission trip…which is the … Continue reading reality
Meet my friend Dima!
This is one of the best huggers I've ever known! He is also one of the most considerate, kind and cute! One of my best friends sponsors this little guy and i get to be the one to give him hugs from her! How awesome is that?
a gift…
Gifts come in many forms...birthdays, Christmas, time, people...2 days ago, in Russia, God gave me a gift of presence. I am in Russia...we left on Nov 2 and we return Nov 12 (just in case you feel a need to come welcome us home :)). For the last several years I have sponsored a young … Continue reading a gift…
